EU Media Relaystream relay network

Status

All nodes operational

Checks run every sixty seconds from three external vantage points. A node is marked degraded when two of the three cannot pull a test mount.

Recent incidents

2026-07-21 — prg-1 packet loss

Intermittent loss of 2–5% on the upstream link between 19:40 and 23:10 UTC. Listeners on HLS were mostly unaffected; direct-stream listeners saw repeated disconnects. The host is replacing a line card. The node stays in monitoring state until it has been clean for fourteen days.

2026-07-09 — vno-1 unplanned reboot

Power event at the host site. Node returned after eleven minutes; stations assigned there failed over to tll-1 and back automatically. Two stations using hardcoded node addresses in their encoders did not fail over — a reminder to publish to the hostname you were assigned, not to an IP address.

2026-07-02 — hel-1 certificate renewal

A renewal hook did not fire and the HLS endpoint served an expired certificate for roughly forty minutes. Direct streams were unaffected. The hook now runs from the certificate deploy stage rather than on a timer.

2026-05-18 — fra-1 source authentication outage

A configuration change rejected valid source passwords for twenty-five minutes. Existing streams stayed up; stations that tried to reconnect during the window could not. Rolled back, and source configuration is now staged on a test mount before it goes live.
